Andrew Willdig has been appointed CEO of iStorage Group, effective February 1. He succeeds John Michael, who steps down after nearly 17 years of leadership.
Under John Michael’s tenure, iStorage grew into a globally trusted leader in secure, hardware-encrypted data storage, building a strong patent portfolio, launching category-defining products, and expanding internationally. His leadership has shaped both the company’s market position and its culture.
John Michael will remain an active shareholder and continue to support the group as a member of the Board.
Andrew Willdig brings fresh energy and perspective as iStorage and Kanguru enter their next phase of growth. Together with the existing teams, his focus will be accelerating global expansion, and scaling secure data solutions across key international markets.
Elvirian thanks John Michael for his exceptional contribution and looks forward to supporting Andrew Willdig and the wider group in the years ahead.
